Founded in 2014 by Jerome Jacques Marie Mage, Jacques Marie Mage is a Los Angeles-based producer of limited-edition designer goods specializing in the micro-production of luxury eyewear for a clientele of discerning tastes.
With each new collection, JMM embraces a unique palette of precious materials, rich colors, and striking geometric forms, which cleverly reference and beautifully reconfigure the striking individuals, artistic movements, and world events of previous centuries. All JMM eyewear is ethically sourced and produced with the utmost respect for industry partners' environment and wellbeing.
About the Role
The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for managing consumer content and engagement on JMM's social platforms ensuring consistent, relevant and exceptional consumer engagement. This role is pivotal in shaping the brand's image and engaging with our audience in a meaningful way. This role required a mix of creativity, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of social media dynamics. The Social Media Coordinator works on-site in our West Hollywood HQ and reports to the Head of Brand.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Brand Creative & Ecommerce departments to develop content for our various social media platforms. Collaborate with the Marketing department to create and support brand awareness, ad campaigns, and effectively allocating budget.
- Develop and build a cohesive strategy and storytelling across each social media platforms.
- Develop and implement a consistent posting schedule optimizing times for maximum reach and engagement and provide monthly analytics and recommendations.
- Foster a community by activity engaging with followers through comments and messages. Gather and share customer feedback on social media to improve our online presence. Monitor online conversations and mentions, addressing customer concerns and issues promptly,
- Maintain a cohesive brand tone of voice and aesthetic to consistently align with our brand image and values.
- Monitor Instagram analytics to provide reports on key metrics and insights.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns on instagram and relevant platforms ; including collaborations, new collections, and launches.
- Explore and implement innovative social media strategies.
- Optimize and amplify the brand's presence/voice on existing social media platforms
Key Requirements
- Proven social media management skills, preferably in the luxury or fashion industry.
- Strong creative and visual skills with proficiency in content creation tools.
- In-depth knowledge of Instagram trends, features, and algorithms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret social media metrics
