Maintenance Technician IIThe Maintenance Technician II role plays a critical part in keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems at our Grain Elevator locations. This hands-on position offers the opportunity to diagnose complex equipment issues, perform emergency repairs, and contribute directly to operational success. Technicians work with advanced production equipment, interpret technical drawings and manuals, and utilize computerized maintenance systems to support reliability and uptime. A strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement is essential in this highly skilled maintenance role. This role is perfect for a hands-on Industrial Maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment, solving mechanical and electrical challenges, and making a direct impact on location reliability, safety, and production performance.Shift/ScheduleNormal Hours - Monday through Friday 6:45a-4pHarvest Peak Hours (JULY-SEPTEMBER) - Monday through Friday 6:45a-7pKey ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain and overhaul production machines and facility equipmentProvide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment and/or mobile equipment and vehicles, and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during servicePerform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machinesRead and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints and work orders to perform required maintenance and serviceDiagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustmentsPerform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities. Maintain computerized preventative maintenance systemMaintain current and in-depth knowledge of all safety policies and standards related to position.
