TERRITORY SALES REPRESENTATIVE - INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT

Northern California - Sacramento, Central Valley & Bay Area | Field-Based | $70K-$80K Base | $120K+ OTE | Uncapped Commission | 3-4 Travel Days/Month

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated Territory Sales Representative to grow sales of capital equipment and technical solutions throughout Northern California, primarily selling directly to food, beverage, and other manufacturing facilities.

You'll develop new business, grow existing accounts, demonstrate equipment, and work directly with production, maintenance, engineering, and operations teams.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Prospect and develop new manufacturing accounts throughout Northern California.
• Manage and grow existing customer relationships.
• Sell capital equipment used within manufacturing, packaging, and production lines.
• Conduct on-site equipment presentations and hands-on demonstrations.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and quoting through negotiation and close.
• Maintain customer activity, pipeline, forecasts, and follow-up within the CRM.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
• 2+ years of technical sales, industrial sales, account management, or manufacturing-related customer experience.
• Capital equipment, packaging machinery, automation, coding/marking, labeling, inspection equipment, material handling, or similar technical product experience strongly preferred.
• Experience selling directly to manufacturing facilities, particularly food and beverage manufacturers, highly desirable.
• Strong prospecting skills and ability to independently manage a sales territory.
• Comfortable working with production, maintenance, engineering, operations, and purchasing personnel.
• Technically savvy and comfortable learning equipment, software, and CRM systems.
• Must be based in Northern California, ideally within approximately 40 miles of Sacramento International Airport.
• Must have dedicated space, such as a garage or storage unit, to securely store demonstration equipment.
• Ability to travel approximately 3-4 days per month throughout Sacramento, Central Valley, Bay Area, and surrounding markets.
• Ability to travel for company training and sales meetings as required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• $70,000-$80,000 base salary.
• Higher base potential for candidates with direct coding, marking, labeling, or closely related equipment experience.
• Uncapped commission with approximately $120,000+ OTE.
