Why Join Us Opportunity to work on large, complex heavy civil projects Strong backlog of work with long-term stability Clear career advancement path into Project Engineer, Assistant PM, Superintendent, and Project Management roles Exposure to cutting-edge earthmoving and construction technology Collaborative field-focused culture with experienced mentorship Competitive compensation package Annual performance bonus opportunities Company vehicle or vehicle allowance Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with company contribution Paid vacation and holidays Per diem and travel assistance for eligible projects Ongoing professional development and training Job Responsibilities Support field operations on large-scale heavy civil and site development projects Assist with layout, surveying, grade checking, and GPS machine control coordination Track production quantities, daily reports, and project progress Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal crews Help manage RFIs, submittals, as-builts, and project documentation Monitor project schedules and support short-term planning activities Assist with cost tracking, forecasting, and quantity verification Ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with project specifications Work closely with superintendents and project managers to solve field challenges in real time Participate in quality control and inspection activities Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred Internship or field experience in heavy civil, earthwork, utilities, or infrastructure construction is a plus Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications Familiarity with GPS machine control, surveying, or layout equipment preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced field environment Willingness to travel or relocate for project assignments if needed Driven, team-oriented mindset with a desire to grow into project leadership Equal Opportunity Statement Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
