Store Manager

Role Overview Responsible for managing store operations, including staffing, training, inventory control, merchandise presentation, sales, and customer service. Key Responsibilities Recruit, train, evaluate, and retain qualified staff. Communicate performance expectations, conduct performance reviews, and address employee issues. Manage store opening/closing, ensure proper staffing, and maintain safety standards. Analyze sales and expense data to identify trends and opportunities. Order merchandise to meet stock targets; oversee merchandise staging and presentation. Control inventory, damages, and markdowns; ensure accurate record-keeping. Maintain a clean, organized, and secure store environment. Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and legal requirements. Qualifications & Skills Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, cash handling, and safety procedures. Ability to perform math calculations and operate cash registers. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; management experience in retail is a plus. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 55 pounds. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb as needed; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
