Position: RN ICU - Nights

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with ICU experience to join our team for night shifts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in critical care nursing, with at least two years of experience in an intensive care unit setting. This position requires the following certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
California RN License (CA LIC) - must be in hand

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
Monitor and assess patients' conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
Maintain accurate patient records and document care in the charting system.
Participate in patient education and support families during challenging times.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting.
Experience with patients in Medical, Neuro, Surgical, and Trauma Intensive Care Units is preferred.
Ability to float to other units when necessary, including DOU and Telemetry.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Required Courses

All candidates are required to complete the following courses as part of the onboarding process within 30 days of their start date:

Assaultive Behavior Course ($80 enrollment fee)
Fire Card Course ($50 enrollment fee)
