Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 06:45 - 19:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ Years License: RN License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ENPC Must-Have: - 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an emergency room setting. - Experience in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center. - Teamwork mentality and the ability to coach and provide feedback in real time. - Flexibility to work in all areas of the emergency department. Description: This position is for an emergency department nurse. You will be required to ensure high-quality patient care in a busy, dynamic environment. The department typically has a patient ratio of 4:1 in medical cases, increasing to 7:1 on behavioral holds. Technicians are available to assist in various roles, including cardiac monitoring and patient processing. The unit utilizes advanced equipment, including monitoring systems and pumps. Documentation is conducted using a specific electronic system. You will be expected to adhere to patient experience protocols, including respectful behavior and communication practices. Certification requirements include ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS, all to be obtained before your start date. ENPC certification must be completed within 90 days of hire.
