Geographic Information Systems Analyst

GIS AnalystDSA is seeking qualified GIS Analyst with an active Secret clearance to support operations at NAS Jacksonville. This role supports critical Navy geospatial infrastructure and requires strong technical expertise in ESRI platforms and enterprise GIS environments.Required Qualifications:Active Secret clearanceGIS experienceAdvanced proficiency with:ArcGIS Desktop (10.x)ArcGIS ProArcGIS OnlineArcGIS EnterpriseExperience working in a versioned GIS environmentHands-on experience:Creating and managing spatial data from multiple sourcesField data collection using GPSIntegrating GPS data into GIS systemsBachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Science, GIS, or related fieldCompTIA Security+ (or ability to obtain)Desired Qualifications:GIS Professional (GISP) certificationESRI technical certificationsAdditional experience in geospatial data governance or enterprise systemsKey Responsibilities:Maintain and update GIS data within the Navy SE Enterprise Spatial Database Engine (SDE)Coordinate with the Real Property Accountable Officer (RPAO) to reconcile discrepancies and support audit readinessCreate, update, and manage standardized geospatial products, including:Symbology layersMap templatesRegional and installation-level map productsPerform quality control throughout the map production lifecycleApply cartographic standards and best practicesSupport stakeholder requests and incorporate user feedback into GIS productsThe posted salary range is a good-faith estimate. Actual compensation will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and other job-related factors. DSA - Salary Pay Range $75,000 - $85,000 USD Many of DSA's positions require the ability to obtain a security clearance. Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
