Psych/Substance Abuse Registered Nurse (RN)

Amergis Staffing is currently seeking highly skilled Registered Nurses (RN) for Psych/Substance Abuse Assignments in North Charleston, SC.

Position Details:

• 2 weekday evening shifts per week (3:30PM-12AM) Saturday & Sunday night shift 7:30PM-8AM Every weekend required, can be flexible on which weekdays for the evening weekday shifts.
• North Charleston, SC
• Substance abuse experience preferred but not required.

The Psychiatric or Mental/Behavioral Health LPN is responsible and accountable for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the psychiatric unit of a hospital, mental health/behavioral health hospital, or they can be responsible for care in community settings.

The LPN must demonstrate the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in collaboration with the care team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current LPN license in state of assignment
• 1 year experience in a psychiatric care setting preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
