Job Description:

The Registered Nurse will provide specialized wound care services to a diverse patient population. Responsibilities include direct patient care and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality treatment outcomes for patients with a variety of wound types.

Responsibilities:

• Provide wound care for patients with diverse wound types, including diabetic foot wounds, vascular wounds, and pressure injuries.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive wound management.
• Utilize EPIC charting system to document patient care activities.
• Engage in wound care techniques, including Wound Vacs and nurse level debridement.

Requirements:

• Current South Dakota RN license and completion of an approved nursing education program.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Wound Care.
• Ostomy certification (CWOCN) is required for certain roles.
• Proficiency with general wound care practices, including performing Ankle-Brachial Indices (ABIs) and cast cutting.
