Work Environment This full-time position is onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center located in Fredericksburg, Virginia. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans and drive patient progress. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical assessments and evaluations to determine patients’ functional limitations and establish appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Provide ongoing therapy, including but not limited to exercises, manual therapy techniques, and patient education on self-management strategies. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity throughout the treatment process. Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes according to professional standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring clear and accurate communication with relevant stakeholders. Educate patients and their families on treatment goals, progress updates, and self-care techniques to empower them in their rehabilitation journey. Supervise and mentor physical therapy aides and students, providing guidance and support in clinical settings. Engage in community outreach and participate in marketing and cost-containment initiatives to promote physical therapy services and foster community relationships. Attend staff meetings and pursue continuous learning opportunities to stay current with industry trends and enhance your professional expertise. Patient Population / Client Focus Your role will involve working with a diverse patient demographic, including children, adults, and the elderly, all dealing with various musculoskeletal conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, neurological impairments, and balance disorders. You'll customize treatment approaches to meet the unique needs and goals of each patient, fostering an inclusive environment where every individual feels supported and understood. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required. Valid State License in Physical Therapy. Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members. Proficient in the use of electronic medical records and documentation software. Preferred Experience While a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting is required, experience in outpatient rehabilitation and knowledge of various therapeutic modalities will be advantageous. Additional certifications in specialized areas of physical therapy practice are highly desirable. Compensation and Benefits This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
