• Weekend Every other
• Call Requirements: Yes
• Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Special Skills/Experience required: 2 years +

***All travelers are required to float, while on the interview please inform traveler of the Methodist Floating Policy***

• Floating policy: As needed

Hiring profile

Requested Skill Set:

Must have : (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role)

• Must have PALS or ENPC
• ACLS
• BLS
• TNCC
• NIHSS REQUIRED
• At least 2+ years of ER Experience

Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed : (candidates with these skills will be considered first)

• CEN
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Meditech experience preferred

Specialty/Unit Certification Required: (RN):

ACTIVE TX RN LICENSE TEMP LICENSE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

Procedures performed on unit:

• Conscious Sedation
• Participate Intubations
• Behavioral Health Watch
• Sepsis
• Stroke (Tpa administration)
• Chest pain (Heart Alerts)

Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.

• Scrub Color

o RN: Navy (undershirts and jackets white, navy, black only)

• Nail Policy No acrylic, no longer 1D4 inch, clean, no chipped nail polish
• Hair Off shoulders, natural color
• Tattoos Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not fessible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually
• Piercings Visible piercings other than ears, is prohibited.
