We are looking for a QA Analyst to support software testing initiatives for a high-visibility enterprise program in Jacksonville, Florida. This role partners closely with development and program teams to ensure applications meet business and technical expectations through thoughtful planning, detailed validation, and clear defect reporting. The ideal candidate brings strong manual testing experience, comfort working with Oracle-based environments, and a collaborative approach to improving software quality.

Responsibilities:
• Assess the scope of testing activities and provide effort estimates for assignments of varying size and complexity.
• Examine business requirements, solution designs, and technical documentation to uncover gaps and build effective test coverage.
• Develop, update, and carry out structured test plans, test cases, and test scripts that verify expected system behavior.
• Log, monitor, and retest defects while communicating findings, risks, and progress to project stakeholders.
• Perform functional and regression testing across assigned application areas and summarize outcomes in a clear, organized manner.
• Adjust testing approaches as project needs evolve and help maintain alignment between requirements and validation efforts.
• Partner with automation specialists to troubleshoot issues affecting automated functional or performance test execution.
• Recommend enhancements to quality assurance practices, tools, and reporting to strengthen overall testing effectiveness.
• Provide guidance to less experienced analysts and contribute subject matter expertise on critical business applications.
• Support project coordination activities, including planning efforts and the configuration or improvement of testing tools used by the team.• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least five years of software testing experience, including creation and execution of test strategies, plans, and scripts for financial systems.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing, test script development, and test plan creation.
• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Cloud testing, including at least one year of relevant experience.
• Ability to write and execute complex Oracle database queries to support backend validation and analysis.
• Working knowledge of defect tracking tools, test management platforms, and software testing practices within the SDLC.
• Ability to interpret detailed technical documents and collaborate effectively with developers, business partners, and peers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
