Location: Newark, DE - fully on site
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
Contract: Initial 1-month contract with extensions and potential for conversion (expected contract duration of 8-12 months before conversion)

About the Opportunity


Dexian is seeking a Trade Support Specialist to join its Loan Trading Documentation team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates and early-career professionals looking to build a long-term career within one of the world's leading financial institutions. The team supports high-profile trading and lending operations and provides valuable exposure to financial markets, loan trading, and trade operations.

What You'll Do

• Support the settlement and closing of secondary loan trades by partnering with traders, sales teams, clients, legal counsel, and operations teams
• Manage a portfolio of active trades while ensuring timely and accurate processing
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Review and process legal and trade-related documentation, including:
  • Trade confirmations
  • Assignment agreements
  • Participation agreements
  • Proceeds letters
  • Cash collateral agreements
  • Other loan trading documents
• Analyze credit agreements and assignability provisions
• Identify and escalate issues when necessary to traders, management, or legal teams
• Prepare daily and weekly reports to track trade status, outstanding items, and operational risk

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant professional experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with loan trading or financial services environments
• Knowledge of the trade lifecycle or operations support functions
• Exposure to syndicated loans or lending products
• Experience with LoanIQ, ClearPar, or similar platforms
• Understanding of LSTA documentation and industry standards
• Prior experience supporting trading, operations, or financial products is a plus
