Overview St. Louis City SC is seeking a Director of Data & Insights (Sporting) to lead the development of the club's sporting analytics capability. Reporting to the Sporting Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for defining the club's analytics strategy and building the people, processes, technology and operating model required to support it. This role represents a significant investment in the club's long‑term use of data, analytics and technology. The successful candidate will play a leading role in establishing the function, shaping its direction and building a team capable of supporting key decisions across recruitment, coaching, performance, medical and sports science. The long‑term ambition is to develop a best‑in‑class sporting analytics department across analytics, data engineering and performance insights. Success in the role will be measured not by the volume of analysis produced, but by the impact analytics has on decision‑making, performance and competitive advantage across the sporting organization. This is a full‑time, exempt position.
