Houseman- Housekeeping

Description:

The Houseman supports the housekeeping team on guest room floors by ensuring a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment, enabling Room Attendants to work efficiently and deliver Hyatt service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Support Room Attendants by stripping guest rooms (removing used linens, towels, and trash) to prepare rooms for cleaning

•  Deliver linens, towels, and guest supplies promptly to Room Attendants on assigned floors

•  Maintain cleanliness and organization of guest hallways, service landings, and vending areas at all times

•  Empty trash from housekeeping areas, hallways, and service points regularly

•  Keep housekeeping closets clean, organized, and fully stocked with required supplies and par levels

•  Transport dirty linens to designated collection areas and ensure proper handling procedures are followed

•  Restock linen closets and supply areas throughout the shift to support workflow efficiency

•  Monitor guest floor conditions and report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns promptly

•  Respond quickly to housekeeping requests within assigned floors to maintain productivity and turnaround time

Qualifications:

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred but not required.

• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Physical stamina to lift up to 25 pounds and remain active for extended periods.

• Strong communication and ability to follow instructions.
