Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' growth and well-being as a School Psychologist from August 25, 2026, through December 4, 2026. This role covers a maternity leave and offers a predictable schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, in a vibrant educational setting near Bellevue, WA.
Your expertise will help foster positive learning environments, address academic and emotional needs, and collaborate with dedicated educators and families. Desired Skills & Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license for Washington State
- Previous experience in K-12 educational environments
- Competency with psychological assessment tools and IEP processes
- Ability to provide behavioral, emotional, and academic evaluations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to cultural competency and sensitivity in diverse school communities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments and write clear, actionable reports
- Take an active role in problem-solving teams and intervention planning
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators on student needs
- Participate in the creation and monitoring of IEPs and 504 plans
- Provide individual and group counseling as needed
- Promote safe, inclusive, and supportive school climates
