General Summary:

This position is responsible for supporting sales efforts in the retail market. Installation of hardware support of all products sold or operated by Edge One alongside merchant POS systems. This includes programming, installing all retail products offered by Edge One and phone support and assisting with training our customers on issues related to their equipment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Represent Edge One and Service Solutions in a professional manner.
2. Develop and maintain technical and programming product knowledge of all products serviced by Service Solutions.
3. Work with prospects to determine their specific needs for services available through Service Solutions – pass all prospective customer leads on to the Vice President of Sales.
4. Responsible for maintenance, technical support and installation of all products designed by management.
5. Required to be well groomed (neat and clean) and in a Service Solutions uniform with assigned badge while on duty.
6. Available for “on call” work when assigned.
7. Prepare and submit all required paperwork for each service, call and installation of equipment in a timely and productive manner.
8. Follow all Service Solutions policies and procedures.
9. Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to do so.

1. Must be able to drive a vehicle, day and night, and pass an annual driving test.
2. Must possess the necessary skills and willing to work in an armed environment
3. Able to pass D.O.T physical examination and drug screening test.
4. Must be able to load and unload a 200 lb. ATM from van.
5. Must be able to list 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
6. Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, squat and twist in various positions while servicing equipment.
7. Must be able to read and understand written product manuals and apply that knowledge in servicing related equipment within guidelines.
8. Must be knowledgeable in POS systems that Edge One, Inc provides and refers to our customers.
9. Must be knowledgeable in or have the mechanical aptitude for minor repaid of Merchant Equipment.
10. Must be bondable.
11. Must have and maintain a clean driving record and be insurable.
12. Must be able to demonstrate ability to work well in a team environment, displaying a strong work ethic and integrity.
13. Must be able to provide support and training for other technicians in our Merchant Service offerings.
14. Must be willing to attend training classes and trade shows as requested. Overnight travel may be required,
15. Must have access to a computer that is capable of sending and receiving work related documents, preferably with Windows software.

Language:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to outside contact, customers and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
