Please follow these steps: Step One Step Two Purpose Statement Job of Bookstore Coordinator managing processes relating to student textbooks; selling and/or distributing student materials; monitoring expenditures for student activities and fees. Essential Functions Assist and provide direction to club sponsors (deposits, expenditures, club balances) for the purpose of maintaining club procedures. Direct staff and student workers for the purpose of guiding and monitoring their activities. Distribute textbooks to classes and/or students for the purpose of providing required instructional materials. Maintain inventory of textbooks, instructional materials and supplies for the purpose of ensuring availability. Manage bookstore operations (receiving, issuing, collecting, performing inventories) for the purpose of ensuring availability of textbooks and controlling related expenses. Prepare a variety of reports and documents (daily deposits, collection letters, requisitions, purchase orders) for the purpose of conveying information and/or providing audit trail. Process textbook orders (review requisition, course listing, order specifications) for the purpose of providing required textbooks and supplemental materials for scheduled courses. Accurately and timely process financial transactions (cash receipts, bank deposits, check payments, invoices) for the purpose of ensuring payment for purchased and/or rented items in conformance with district and state financial requirements. Accurately collect and record student fees for the purpose of completing transactions and/or preparing bank deposits. Ensure clubs maintain accurate and detailed deposit records for the purpose of ensuring audit records. Other Functions Assist other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Continuing Education: Student Activity guidelines and rules.
