Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for an exciting travel position in Jacksonville, TX. This role focuses on outpatient care, working with patients requiring orthopedic, balance, deconditioned, and pain therapy. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing patient care to ensure the highest standards of physical therapy practice are maintained.

Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist

• Gathering pertinent data from charts and other caregivers, and discussing with physicians as necessary
• Independently assessing all assigned patient types
• Recognizing additional needs during evaluations and exercising good judgment in decision-making for further testing
• Interpreting results and formulating relevant, measurable, realistic, and attainable goals
• Reassessing patient progress regularly per departmental and regulatory policy or when needed
• Identifying appropriate equipment, discussing options with patient and family

Requirements of the Physical Therapist

• Bachelor's degree required; Doctorate preferred
• LPT License in the state of TX (or compact) required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
