The Planning Strategist can expect to focus in the following areas: Lead Advanced, High-Net-Worth Planning Deliver a Seamless and Sophisticated Client Experience Strengthen Collaboration Across the Firm Be a Thought Leader and Knowledge Builder Mentor, Develop, and Elevate Others Location is flexible, but you must live within a 50-mile radius of one of our Savant office and be able to reliably commute. Work-Model: To support our collaborative, relationship-driven culture, Senior Financial Planners are expected to work in the office at least three days per week as part of our hybrid work model. Hours: Typical working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm CT, but with our offices being coast to coast, there may be flexibility based on business needs. Qualifications The Planning Strategist position typically requires the following qualifications: Required Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline. 8+ years delivering comprehensive financial planning, with 3+ years serving HNW clients. CFP certification required. Experience reviewing personal tax returns (23 years preferred). Pursuit or possession of a tax-focused certification (CPA preferred; TPCP, EA, or similar welcomed). Preferred Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and planning/tax software. Demonstrated tax, wealth management, and financial planning acumen. Exceptional communication skills both client-facing and internal.
