All protocols are clearly documented and taught using inclusive and recurring training sessions. A phlebotomist in this position might work at a fixed donor center location or at various community sites via mobile blood drives and will work with a variety of donors each shift./pp$2500 Sign on Bonus!/ppFull-Time Schedule: This is a full-time position with variable scheduling. Shifts may be scheduled any day of the week, Monday through Sunday, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m./ppJob Responsibilities:/pulliAssesses and documents vitals of donor; qualifies donor responses on questionnaires to determine eligibility of donor./liliPerforms blood collections in accordance with applicable policies and procedures./liliFollows safety procedures./liliProvides excellent customer service and pre/post donation care as needed./liliAssists with the set-up of blood drive, including the safe loading/unloading of mobile units./liliPerforms cleaning tasks, including equipment cleaning./liliEnsures accuracy, acceptability, and completeness of documentation to prevent loss of units./liliAttends and participates in staff meetings and trainings./li/ulpThe hourly rate for this position is $17.75 + shift differentials/ppIBR also offers comprehensive benefits (including medical, vision, dental, paid time off, and sick days) to full and part-time employees, as well as the opportunity to participate in a 403(b)-retirement plan with a generous employer contribution./ph2Qualifications/h2ulliHigh school diploma or equivalent/liliValid drivers license required/liliLocal travel.
