Monthly Celebrations and recognitions Quarterly Attendance Bonus Program Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for providing preventative maintenance and repairs to facility equipment, furnishings and property. Maintenance Assistant Essential Functions Maintenance Assistant will help with the implementation of a facility wide maintenance program that ensures the safety and well-being of residents, staff and visitors Following established maintenance tasks according to policy and procedures and facility quality assurance standards Maintaining all daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semiannual and seasonal preventative maintenance schedules for equipment and property Performing unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed Maintenance Assistant will coordinate with other departments work schedules to avoid interference and unnecessary interruptions Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor Qualifications Maintenance Assistant Qualifications Have a thorough understanding of the best maintenance practices The ability to read, write, speak and understand the English Language The possession of an active State of Indiana driver’s license Patience, a cheerful disposition, enthusiasm and a willingness to handle residents based on whatever maturity and physical level in which they are currently functioning A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required Have a Technical Schooling in electrical, plumbing, HVAC or mechanical is preferred but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr Ashton Creek
