We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join a busy Cancer Center Chemotherapy Clinic in a vibrant Southeastern U.S. region. This full-time day position involves planning and delivering professional nursing care aligned with established policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients and identify their care needs accurately.
• Organize, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.
• Serve as charge nurse when assigned, demonstrating leadership and organizational skills.
• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Recognize and respond promptly to life-threatening situations.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Monitor quality of care using outcome-based indicators.
• Support patients' cultural and spiritual beliefs within medical guidelines.
• Participate actively in cost containment and accurate patient service charging.

Education and Experience

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in a Compact state or the relevant state.
• No prior experience required; new graduates encouraged to apply.

Skills and Abilities

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Effective organizational and leadership capabilities.
• Knowledge of age-specific physiological, psychosocial, developmental, and spiritual patient needs.

Physical Requirements

• Good speech and auditory acuity for patient communication.
• Visual acuity for patient observation.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift frequently.
• Potential exposure to blood or infectious materials.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Active Registered Nurse license.
