About the Role:  

Lollipop Land in Rigby, ID is looking for a warm, enthusiastic Assistant Child Care Teacher to join our team! Responsibilities:  

• Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and lesson plans
• Supervise and engage children in a safe, structured, and stimulating classroom environment
• Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development throughout the day
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom and play area
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding daily activities and child progress
• Follow all childcare licensing regulations, safety protocols, and center policies
• Assist with meals, nap time, and daily routines as needed

Requirements:

 

• Must be 16 Years old
• Genuine passion for early childhood development and education
• Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to pass a background check as required by Idaho childcare licensing standards
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Reliable, dependable, and a true team player
• Must be able to work 4-5 days 3:00-6:30.
