Job Skills / Requirements Immediate Openings for a Part‑Time Loss Prevention Officer. Job Description Identify and apprehend shoplifters through floor patrol and the use of closed‑circuit TV cameras. Report writing. Interact with local law enforcement as needed. Provide courtroom testimony as required. Job Requirements Pre‑employment criminal background check and drug screening. Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3‑4 hours at a time. Reliable transportation. Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently. Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means. Ability to write legible, accurate, and easily understood reports. Assertive yet controlled in dealing with confrontation. Trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision. Attendance for scheduled shifts; tardiness and absenteeism are not tolerated. Previous loss prevention or law enforcement experience is a plus but not required.
