IT Specialist (Expert) QA/Test Automation

We are seeking an experienced IT Specialist (Expert) QA/Test Automation to lead quality assurance, test automation, regression testing, and accessibility testing for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate has extensive experience building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks, developing test strategies, coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and managing defects throughout the SDLC.

The candidate must have strong hands-on expertise with Selenium WebDriver, .NET Core and/or Java, cross-browser testing, and accessibility testing tools. Experience on Agile Scrum teams and with healthcare applications subject to PHI and HIPAA requirements is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead QA activities including functional and usability testing, analysis, test execution, and Jira-based test case and defect management.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated and regression suites using Selenium WebDriver with .NET Core and/or Java across multiple browsers.
• Design scalable, modular, reusable automation frameworks for multiple applications, platforms, and mobile devices (Android and iOS).
• Develop test plans, strategies, suites, scripts, and test parallelization approaches to improve efficiency and quality.
• Create UAT documentation and coordinate UAT with Business Analysts, SMEs, and end users.
• Conduct ADA/WCAG accessibility testing using NVDA, AXE DevTool, ANDI, Accessibility Insights, and AxeAuditor.
• Perform cross-browser and responsive web testing across desktop and mobile environments.
• Identify, document, track, and resolve defects with developers, BAs, SMEs, and stakeholders.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Use TFS, GitLab, and SharePoint for test management, version control, collaboration, and documentation.
• Maintain QA documentation: test plans, cases, scripts, execution results, defect reports, and test summaries.
• Apply appropriate testing practices for healthcare applications processing PHI under HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
• Collaborate across teams throughout the SDLC to validate requirements, improve coverage, and support successful releases.

• 6 years (72 months): Working on Scrum teams and participating in Agile ceremonies.
• 6 years (72 months): Using Team Foundation Server (TFS), GitLab, and SharePoint.
• 6 years (72 months): Working with healthcare applications involving PHI in HIPAA-regulated environments.
• Demonstrated cross-browser and responsive web testing across desktop and mobile devices.
• Strong knowledge of QA documentation, test planning, test case development, script maintenance, and defect lifecycle management.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and end users.

A senior-level QA/Test Automation professional with substantial experience designing enterprise automation frameworks, leading accessibility and regression testing, and supporting complex healthcare applications. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple testing activities across enterprise applications and platforms.
