Infant Nanny Position

Location: Shaker Heights, OH
Compensation: $25.00–$30.00 per hour
Commitment Level: Live-out, full-time, long-term
Guaranteed Hours: 45 hours per week
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Start Date: Early November 2026

Position Overview

A warm, welcoming family is seeking an experienced, long-term nanny to care for their infant, who will be approximately six months old at the start of the position. This is a sole-charge infant care role for a career nanny who is confident with babies and genuinely enjoys the rhythm of the infant year — feeding and nap routines, developmental play, and the steady, attentive presence a baby of this age thrives on.

The family is looking for someone who will grow with them over the coming years. They anticipate expanding their family and hope to build a lasting relationship with the right person. The home is a calm, pet-free environment, and the role is focused entirely on the child; no housekeeping duties are included.

 Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, engaged sole-charge care for an infant
• Maintain and support feeding, nap, and daily routines
• Lead age-appropriate developmental play and activities
• Prepare bottles and, as the child grows, infant meals
• Handle all child-related laundry, bottle washing, and tidying of the child's spaces
• Track daily feeding, sleep, and diapering; communicate updates to parents
• Transport the child to activities, appointments, and outings as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for the child

Requirements

• Significant professional experience caring for infants
• Career nanny background with demonstrated long-term placements
• Current CPR and Pediatric First Aid certification
• Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle
• Comfortable working in a home where a parent may be present
• Reliable, punctual, and communicative
• Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
