The OPPORTUNITY Leverage your industry expertise and join our expanding team in this Senior Virtual Premium Auditor role for the North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Tennessee, Georgia, Mississippi, and Florida area. The Sr. Virtual Premium Auditor will require the individual to handle larger, more complex audits and to have a high level of understanding of insurance coverages. The Sr. Virtual Premium Auditor will be called upon to provide guidance and assist the Field Manager with the training of less experienced virtual auditors. It is expected that this level virtual auditor will operate with more autonomy than the entry-level virtual auditor. This remote role will allow you to do your best work from your home office, collaborating virtually with your team daily. You will travel to our Raleigh office for meetings and company events up to four times a year Your WORK as a Premium Audit Processor will make a difference as you: Conduct virtual audits and pre-audits of selected larger or complex commercial lines policies by reviewing the customer’s business operations, including examining, verifying, and recording pertinent classification-related data from financial business records. Ensure quality of the audit through proper risk classification and exposure basis identification. Utilize laptop computer to record audit information provided by the Premium Audit Service Representative and to transmit completed audits in a timely manner. Discuss issues and problems with insureds to ensure understanding of the change in premium and to maintain good customer relations. Provide external customers (i.e., agents and insured’s) and internal customers (i.e., underwriting, claims, and accounting) with information to assist in their understanding of audit-related matters, including audit statements, procedures, and worksheets. Remain informed of changes and current information relative to premium auditing through discussions with industry experts and review of industry related literature. Exhibit excellent time management skills and can work from a home office with little direct supervision. Conduct business in a professional manner to conserve and protect the corporate assets of Builders Mutual Work on special projects and assignments as required, in addition to regularly scheduled work. Assist in training less experienced auditors as assigned. Provide mentorship and guidance to lower-level auditors. Skills to get the JOB done RIGHT: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field plus 3-5 years of industry experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
