Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Correctional Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Local Contract Corrections – Registered Nurse (RN) – Nights | Outpatient Phoenix, AZ ️ Start: ASAP Contract: 13 weeks ⏰ Schedule: 3×12s | 36 hours/week Shift: Nights Position Details Correctional RN position providing outpatient care across multiple county jail facilities Must be flexible to work either rotation: Front Half: Sunday–Tuesday Back Half: Thursday–Saturday Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays 5 holidays required within a 12-month period No on-call requirement Floating required to all Maricopa County jail locations OT available based on critical need and requires manager approval Extension opportunities available RTO accepted Orientation offered every 2 weeks Clinical Responsibilities Perform patient assessments and implement appropriate nursing interventions Monitor patient progress and evaluate outcomes Perform standard nursing procedures based on patient needs Complete required documentation, care plans, and discharge planning Provide patient education Administer medications and manage pharmacological needs per protocol Perform basic IV and phlebotomy procedures as required Participate in orientation and training of staff, students, and contract personnel Requirements 2 years of specialty experience Minimum 1 year of experience in this position Active, unrestricted Arizona RN License or Compact RN License BLS First Aid certification Current N95 fit test Current Nursys verification Must be flexible with weekends, holidays, and floating between facilities Submission Requirements Updated Resume Skills Checklist AHA BLS Nursys Current TB Test Hep B or signed declination MMR Varicella or signed chickenpox attestation N95 Fit Test Clinical Screen Facility Information Case Types: Corrections • Behavioral Health • Registered Nursing About GQR Healthcare GQR’s Healthcare team specializes in connecting experts within the industry to highly skilled healthcare professionals across the US market.
