Read blueprints and specification to determine the scope of work: location, quantities, and sizes of materials require Lay out, position, align, and fit together fabricated parts of structural metal products Set up face block, jigs, and fixture Locate and mark centerlines and reference points onto floor or face block and transpose them to work piece, using tape, chains, plumb bob, and squares Must have experience with threaded pipe and/or compressed air systems Position or tighten braces, jacks, clamps, ropes, or bolt straps of bolt parts in positions for welding or riveting Additional responsibilities not listed may be required BL Harbert International is an EOE/Vets/Disabilities Qualifications Skills Preferred Advanced Behaviors Preferred Team Player Works well as a member of a group Dedicated Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrity Motivations Preferred Ability to Make an Impact Inspired to perform well by the ability to contribute to the success of a project or the organization Growth Opportunities Inspired to perform well by the chance to take on more responsibility Education High School or better.
