Finance Manager

Job Title Finance Manager - 114524 Location USA - Edwardsville, 3049 Westway Drive (WE) Division Solutions Position Summary The Manager, Finance provides support and manages resources across different regions, including financial reporting and control, income management, debt management, invoice payment, and accurate billing of clients. The Manager oversees the functions performed by Accounting Assistant, Financial Analysts, and other assigned financial staff. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop financial strategies by analyzing revenue, expenses, investments, and risks. Perform analytical reviews of financial information to identify trends and opportunities. Recommend improvements to drive cost efficiencies in balance with operational needs. Work with the Operations team to develop budgets and forecasts for financial performance. Create forecasts using historical data. Report actual results and analysis versus plans. Assist operations regarding cost budgets, quarterly forecasts, and other financial planning activities. Prepare reports to explain financial recommendations to senior management. Play a significant role in the accurate and timely preparation of internal financial reporting and analysis. Publish periodic financial reports, including accounts payable and freight metrics, to provide visibility to department owners and leadership. Help set financial goals and create a roadmap to achieve them. Participate in special projects such as process improvement and financial tools development and implementation. Manage financial process improvements, key performance indicators, and tracking of strategic initiatives. Support various internal and external financial and system audits. Manage accounts payable process, coordinate purchasing, and track vendor invoices and reimbursements. Perform month‑end close responsibilities: journal entries, corporate submissions, expense management, and budgetary support for cost centers. Prepare month‑end journal entries focused on cost accruals. Complete the monthly client profitability model. Attend meetings as required, document and distribute meeting minutes. Handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional, discreet, and secure manner. Create and disseminate various communications and reports. Create or assist with the design and development of presentations. Effectively communicate with employees, customers, suppliers and others on behalf of site management. Identify opportunities for operations to optimize assets and investments. Produce cost quotes, strategic business cases, risk assessments, and other ad‑hoc analysis to support the business. Schedule and meet with vendors to ensure competitive pricing is maintained. Compensation Expected base pay range: $115,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year.
