About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Fund Accounting to take on a pivotal role within a premier growth equity firm. This is not a traditional back-office position; the successful candidate will be at the forefront, leading fund reporting, and working closely with deal teams, tax, compliance, and leadership. The role is highly influential, with a focus on shaping the future of the finance function as the firm continues to scale. Responsibilities include leading and mentoring the fund accounting team, overseeing the full accounting and reporting lifecycle for investment funds and GP entities, managing capital calls, distributions, and fund cash forecasting, driving the audit and tax process, and supporting fundraising and investor reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years' of experience in private equity fund accounting, a strong knowledge of fund structures, LPAs, side letters, fee calculations, and fund lifecycle complexities, and a CPA and/or public accounting foundation. The role demands a professional who thrives in a high-caliber, fast-moving, and collaborative environment, and who is ready to make a significant impact on the company's operations.
