As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Champaign, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will support a welcoming environment through strong communication, customer service, teamwork, and integrity while bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative approach to each shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and store associates by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify suspicious behavior.
• Monitor for policy violations, loitering, theft-related concerns, and other unusual activity, and document observations through detailed security-related reports.
• Assist with closing procedures, alarm-related responses, crowd management during busy shopping periods, and support for loss prevention and store operations as directed by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
