In this role, you will remain visible, assist with security‑related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.50 - $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help manage authorized access, verify credentials, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with staff, visitors, and emergency services as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, paying attention to access points, high‑traffic areas, and other security‑related conditions that may vary by site. Support visitor management and customer service functions by providing directions, assisting with check‑in processes, and helping to address questions or concerns in a professional manner. Minimum Requirements Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. Have customer service experience, preferred. Have access control and/or badge experience, preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
