TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87102!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent experience required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS required; CPI preferred Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Patient ratio experience of 1:6 - Experience with Epic charting Description: The position is for a medical/surgical nurse on the day shift. The role includes caring for adult and geriatric patients. The nurse will manage a patient load of 6 patients. The unit has 32 beds. Rapid response team activation is part of the duties. Orientation will be provided. Nurses may float to like units based on facility needs. There are no on-call shifts required. Employees will work weekends, with 6 weekend shifts scheduled within a 6-week period. The environment promotes interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Special procedures and unit details will be outlined during orientation. Additional certifications and skills needed include management of colostomy/ileostomy care, feeding tube care, and wound care. Travelers are expected to adhere to compliance and orientation requirements. All candidates are required to complete necessary modules upon orientation.
