Rate: $95/hr W2

Job Summary:




- Enhance an existing tool for comparing server configurations across environments to proactively and reactively identify anomalies and configuration drift.
- Add automation and visual display features to the tool, making it a daily resource for production and non-production environments.
- Enable developers and production support teams to instantly assess the status of all environments in a single view.
- Integrate data points such as directory structure, ownership, account permissions, WebSphere configs, database settings, and TLS encryption levels.
- Develop a portable solution applicable to various business lines and systems, with initial demo for Check processing.
- Support environment parity ahead of ACH colo cutover and improve system stability.
- Reduce configuration drift and proactively identify abnormalities before they escalate into issues.
- Utilize strong programming skills in Java and object-oriented design, with experience in Spring, MVC, Java Script, Ajax.
- Work with Unix/AIX/Linux systems, shell scripting, and at least one major relational database system.
- Leverage tools such as Tableau, Splunk, Grafana, Jenkins, and GIT for development, monitoring, and automation.
- Apply knowledge of agile software development methodologies and large-scale systems design.
- Perform automated testing, builds, deployments, and front-end development/web design.
- (Nice to have) Experience with Ansible and MS PowerPoint.
- Must be authorized to work in the US and able to obtain/maintain Public Trust clearance.
