Registered Nurse Emergency Room

$1713.60/week - Job Summary: Seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in a busy Level III Trauma center. This role involves providing high-quality patient care on a night shift schedule, with opportunities for extension. Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care to Trauma Level III patients in a fast-paced environment. Manage patient assessments, including triage, telemetry monitoring, and IV starts. Administer conscious sedation and operate ventilators as required. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Document clinical information accurately using PICIS and Soarian electronic medical records. Adhere to safety protocols, including certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIH, TNCC, and PALS. Qualifications: Hold a valid nursing license with proper credentials to practice in the state. Possess a minimum of 3 years recent ED experience, preferably in a travel setting. Demonstrate proficiency with vents, IV starts, triage, telemetry, and conscious sedation. Show ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations. Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills. Have current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIH, TNCC, and PALS.
