Job Overview We are seeking an individual who will lead and support Young Life ministry, focusing on spiritual development, leadership, resources, and direct ministry with teens and families. Responsibilities Spiritual Development – Develop a yearly personal growth plan; nurture church relationships; lead teams in spiritual development. Leadership Development – Recruit, train, and supervise volunteer leaders; model excellence in contact work and club; assist with team building and vision casting. Resource Development – Raise financial support; maintain donor care; plan & execute fundraising events; build relationships with community stakeholders. Direct Ministry – Lead multiple youth ministries including contact work, clubs, Campaigners, and camp; serve on a summer assignment at a Young Life camp each year. Ministry Support – Manage accounting, administration, internal communications, data management; set strategic ministry plans; provide clear, prompt, professional communication. Training – Complete Core Training phases within first two years; attend regional training; develop personal spiritual maturity. Qualifications College degree preferred. Experience in direct ministry. Proven relational skills with kids and adults. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Profess a belief in Jesus Christ as personal Savior; subscribe to the Young Life Statement of Faith. Work Conditions Includes extremes of a camp such as heat or cold, dirt, long hours, and the physical demands of hiking, horseback riding, boating, and more.
