Description Job Title - Pharmaceutical Sales Rep Job Location: Sacramento, CA Job ID - PSR11k Role Overview We are seeking a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative who will promote innovative and clinically proven pharmaceutical products. This role focuses on meeting physicians and patient needs, building strong and lasting relationships with healthcare providers, and contributing to the growth of our national sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with no prior pharma experience who are eager to launch a career in pharmaceutical sales. Responsibilities Demonstrate accountability, positivity, resilience, curiosity, fearlessness, creativity, drive, and confidence. Work independently with high initiative and entrepreneurship to achieve short‑term and long‑term goals. Quickly gain a comprehensive understanding of behavioral health/psychiatric disease states, products, market dynamics, and practice settings. Apply knowledge of products, clinical studies, protocols, and guidelines to effectively communicate information in a sales environment. Develop and execute territory business plans for assigned brands to achieve consistent sales growth. Promote products ethically and in compliance with company sales processes and approved marketing strategies. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers across multiple settings. Qualifications Sales ability and some prior sales experience preferred. Ability to understand and communicate highly scientific and technical medical information. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for excellence and a competitive mindset. Proven success in persuasion, influence, and negotiation. Documented leadership ability. Effective administrative and organizational skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
