This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for inventory strategy, pricing, appraisals, purchasing decisions, reconditioning, and overall inventory performance. Success in this position requires someone who can analyze market trends, make confident decisions, and lead with accountability while driving profitability.Established in 2010, Oakes Auto Group is family-owned and locally operated, with a culture built around stability, growth, and long-term career development.Pay & BenefitsCompetitive pay based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off + paid holidaysEmployee discountsCareer growth across multiple storesLocally owned and operatedTuition reimbursementCommunity involvement and volunteer opportunitiesWhat You’ll DoOversee all aspects of the used vehicle inventory, including purchasing, pricing, merchandising, appraisals, reconditioning, and inventory management.Develop pricing strategies using current market data while maintaining competitive inventory and maximizing profitability.Manage inventory aging, vehicle turn rates, wholesale decisions, and the reconditioning process through Rapid Recon to ensure inventory is retail-ready.Partner with dealership leadership to execute the used vehicle strategy while providing direction to lot personnel and supporting overall sales operations.Monitor key performance metrics including gross profit, retail unit sales, inventory turn, aging performance, and process compliance while delivering an exceptional customer experience.What We’re Looking ForWe're looking for an experienced automotive professional who understands the used vehicle market and enjoys making data-driven decisions.
