Job Description Job Title: Testing Assistant Location: Bedford, MA Duration: 6+ months (Possibility of Extension) Working Hours: Mon-Fri 6:00am-2:30pm or 7:00am-3:30pm (flexible based on commute) Education/Experience: Associate degree with 1-3 years’ experience preferable in Biotechnology or working in a laboratory or life sciences environment. Job Description: Works in sterile processing, prepping and preparing biocoat and reagent tooling and utensils, along with autoclaving. Works in a team environment following schedule and timing processes to clean and sterilize tooling. Job Duties: Performs standard mixtures of cleaning products for sterile processes. Follows washing and drying schedules according to sterile requirements per SOP. May assist in quality control testing on various issues. Interacts with Quality Assurance to identify non-conformance issues. Uses autoclave schedule to perform sterile processing transactions. Assembles kits and performs simple vialing and media production. Uses ERP system to perform production transactions. Participates in plant activities including Kaizens and 5S blitzes. Working Conditions: Working in wet and open spaces, including clean rooms, general labs, autoclaves, and cold rooms (-8°C), with required PPE. Frequently lifts/moves objects up to 25 pounds; may handle hazardous materials in controlled environments.
