Senior Director, Finance and Strategic Modeling

Revolution Medicines is a late-stage clinical oncology company developing novel targeted therapies for patients with RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins. The company’s RAS(ON) inhibitors daraxonrasib (RMC-6236), a RAS(ON) multi-selective inhibitor; elironrasib (RMC-6291), a RAS(ON) G12C-selective inhibitor; zoldonrasib (RMC-9805), a RAS(ON) G12D-selective inhibitor; and RMC-5127, a RAS(ON) G12V-selective inhibitor, are currently in clinical development. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding professionals in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.The Opportunity:Reporting to VP, FP&A and Strategy, you will be a key contributor and lead financial modeling associated with portfolio strategy, the assessment of external collaboration and partnership opportunities, and long-range planning. This position is based out of our headquarters in Redwood City, CA.Create and maintain financial models (P&L, Valuation, NPV, DCF) that help guide near and long-term portfolio planning and decision making.Provide finance support and develop financial models to assist in business development and corporate strategy efforts.Update, maintain, and drive continuous enhancement of long-range financial model.Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses as needed.Support and provide financial insights for portfolio planning and prioritization.Deliver clear, articulate analyses and insights to inform decisions for single assets and larger portfolio.Effectively partner with multiple functions to align on key assumptions, including commercial organization for revenue projections and program management for probability of technical and regulatory success (PTRS).Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation and analytical rigor across cross-functional finance partnerships.Ad-hoc financial analysis support.Required Skills, Experience and EducationBachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience in finance, banking, and/or consulting.Advanced excel-based modelling experience.Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to lead teams and collaborate cross-functionally.Initiative-taking and able to work independently.Resourceful, motivated, and able to identify potential issues or problems and find solutions.Preferred Skills: Experience in oncology. #LI-Hybrid #LI-TS1 The base pay salary range for this full-time position for candidates working onsite at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA is listed below.
