Coordinates and prepares civil fine enforcement cases by organizing case materials, reviewing documentation for completeness and accuracy, tracking case status, and recommending appropriate program actions. • Prepares reports and supporting documentation for departmental use and for submission to Corporation Counsel, including materials related to cases under litigation. • Researches, investigates, and analyzes civil fine violation cases referred to the Civil Fine Enforcement Program by verifying records, reviewing applicable codes and regulations, conducting field investigations as necessary, and coordinating with internal staff and Corporation Counsel assigned to the program. • Provides testimony and factual information in court or administrative proceedings, as required, in support of civil fine enforcement actions. • Assists the Branch Chief in monitoring and coordinating civil fine cases referred to the branch by maintaining tracking systems, identifying case issues or trends, and providing status updates to management. • Assists in evaluating the effectiveness of the Civil Fine Enforcement Program by collecting and analyzing program data, identifying process gaps, and recommending improvements to policies, procedures, and workflows. • Ensures the maintenance, integrity, and availability of program records and data by overseeing record keeping systems, case tracking, and documentation required for audits, litigation support, and management review. • Provides guidance, technical assistance and mentoring to lower-level staff regarding civil fine program processes, documentation standards, and enforcement processes to ensure consistency and quality of work. • Assists the Branch Chief in monitoring and coordinating with ASO potential changes or reorganization of the branch, positions, and workflows for optimal effectiveness and efficiency. • Performs other related program support and administrative duties, as assigned.
