This position will attend daily staff training and perform minor maintenance work.Primary Responsibilities:Prepare feedstock including inspection, sorting, disassembly, palletizing and transportWork in a team to meet or exceed production and quality standards.Follow production schedules to meet customer demands and operational goals.Identify and resolve operational issues, minimizing downtime and production delays.Follow a strong culture of safety and ensure compliance with all relevant standards.Understand compliance with all environmental regulations.Provide regular updates to supervisors on production metrics and issuesNew operations tasks and other duties as assigned.QualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities:Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to use electronic devices such as a tablet or laptopProficiency in reading/writing in English preferred due to safety requirements of positionPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift and carry between 50 lbs to 70 lbsMust be able to stand or walk for long periods of timeEducation/Experience:Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing or industrial environment required3+ years' experience is preferredMaterials handling experience and prior forklift experience preferredAbility to troubleshoot equipment issues preferredUnderstanding of safety practices, emergency response, and OSHA standards preferred
