Aftercare Program Front Desk The Alper JCC Miami is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable individual to join our Aftercare team as our Aftercare Program Front Desk team member. Schedule Monday-Friday, 1:30 PM-6:00 PM This position serves as the first point of contact for families during our busy afternoon Aftercare program and plays an important role in keeping daily operations organized and running smoothly. Responsibilities Greeting and assisting parents, children, and visitors. Managing student check-out and ensuring children are released only to authorized individuals. Answering parent questions and directing concerns to the appropriate staff member. Answering phones and assisting with general program communication. Maintaining accurate attendance and dismissal information. Communicating with Aftercare staff regarding student pick-up and program needs. Assisting with registration information, paperwork, and basic administrative tasks. Helping maintain an organized, welcoming, and professional front desk. Supporting the Aftercare leadership team with day-to-day program operations as needed. We’re Looking For Someone Who Is Friendly and professional with excellent customer service skills. Organized and detail-oriented. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Reliable and punctual. Confident communicating with parents and staff. Comfortable using computers and learning registration/program software. Able to maintain confidentiality and follow established safety and child-release procedures. Experience in customer service, a front desk environment, a school, camp, or youth program is a plus.
