La Mesa-Spring Valley School District is offering a position for a School Bus Driver. The salary range is $25.50 - $29.51 hourly. The job is located at LMSV Schools Operations Center, Spring Valley, CA, and is a regular part-time position. The job number is 2627-01 and is within the Transportation department. The application period is open from July 1, 2026, to September 30, 2026, at 4:30 PM Pacific Time (US & Canada); Tijuana.

All new hires are being offered advanced step salary placement to Step C: $25.50/hour.

Under the direction of the Supervisor, Transportation, drives a school bus to transport students safely and efficiently to an assigned location on a designated route; assures safety of students during transport, loading and unloading from buses; performs regular safety inspections.

An examination will be given to establish an eligibility list for the position of School Bus Driver in order to fill current and future vacancies. The eligibility list will be effective for one year. These positions are 5-6 hours/day (split shift) during the school year; 206 paid days. Applications will be accepted on a continual basis.
