Our client has a brand new opportunity for a qualified Level 1 Technician to join their team onsite in Bedford, MA.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up and configure employee workstations, including:
  • Docking stations
  • Monitors
  • Cables and peripherals
• Verify proper functionality of workstation equipment prior to employee use
• Troubleshoot basic hardware and connectivity issues related to:
  • Docking stations
  • Monitors and display settings
  • Keyboard and mouse peripherals
  • Power and cable connections
• Respond to employee requests for assistance when equipment is not functioning correctly
• Perform basic cable management and workstation organization
• Escalate unresolved technical issues to appropriate support teams
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused presence while supporting end users
• Document and communicate recurring issues or equipment concerns to project leadership

 
Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in desktop support, field services, help desk, or technical support roles preferred
• Experience setting up and troubleshooting:
  • Desktop and laptop hardware
  • Peripheral devices
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of workstation connectivity and cable management
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 25 lbs.

 

Wage Range:
The rate for this position is between $18.70 - $22.00per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
