Job Details Position: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (Med/Surg Tele RN) Employment Type: Travel RN Contract Location: Hyannis, Massachusetts (Cape Cod) Start Date: 09/28/2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Hours Per Week: 36 Shift: 12-hour nights Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250 Setting: Acute care med/surg telemetry Additional Opportunity: Potential to float between multiple units within the system Job Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience in an acute care hospital Telemetry nursing experience required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Ability to pass Pharmacology Exam prior to start date Ability to pass Basic Arrhythmia Exam prior to start date Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English ACLS preferred BSN preferred Cardiac patient management experience preferred Responsibilities Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Monitor patient responses to medications, treatments, and telemetry findings Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough patient documentation throughout the hospital stay Communicate patient status, care updates, and treatment plans with the interdisciplinary healthcare team Serve confidently in the charge nurse role when assigned Provide support, orientation, and guidance to staff as a resource nurse Promote patient safety, quality care, and adherence to hospital policies and procedures Participate in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives Demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent customer service in every interaction Why Apply for This Travel Nursing Job?
