Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, high-quality care to mothers and newborns. The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing obstetric and postpartum patients, ensuring safety and comfort throughout labor and delivery processes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess prenatal and laboring patients to determine appropriate nursing interventions.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs to detect any complications early.
• Administer medications and assist with procedures such as epidurals and C-sections.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with obstetric and neonatal experience preferred.
• Proven experience in labor and delivery or maternal-child health nursing.
• BLS and NRP certifications required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly and efficiently.
• Strong communication and patient advocacy skills.
